At USA Professional Karate Studio, we have served thousands of children in the greater Pittsburgh area for 45 years with valuable life skills through our Kids Karate Classes. Sensei George Mowod has developed extensive curriculum programs designed for each age group beginning at age 4 up to age 12 that sets up the student and their family for success not only in Karate but in daily life at home and at their Pre- school, Elementary, Junior High and High Schools! They are essentially set-up to become the leaders of our community!
Please Note: We love the very young Pre-school children of Ages 4-5, (our Tigers Age group) but they cannot participate in this or our regular Family Class held every Friday. They have a special Pre-skills Karate Class that is held Mondays and Wednesdays that prepares them with the skills they need for a Family Class.

Adults learn Karate for self-defense, fitness, and character training in a fun, positive and motivating atmosphere with our Adult Karate Classes designed for students ages 13+. These classes are perfect for all martial arts experience levels. In addition to self-defense training, students of all ages develop lifelong skills including: respect, discipline, confidence, integrity, improved focus, and more, all which serve them throughout life in relationships, college, and in their jobs!
We also offer a higher level of world renowned training in our Hyper Pro Training TM Program, with an extensive Hyper Bully Defense Program as well as 2026 Summer Karate Day Camps. Hyper Pro Training is an exclusive program for the most focused and serious students who make up our Demo Team performing kicks, tricks and acrobatics with weapons. It's an amazing achievement to be invited into the Hyper Pro Training TM Program and provides something no other school offers in the greater Pittsburgh area!
